LMotos Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how LMotos (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles data within our internal business applications, specifically regarding our integration with the WhatsApp Business Platform via our Meta Developer Application.
This application is an internal business tool used exclusively by LMotos employees and authorized sales personnel. It is not available for public registration, and no third-party accounts are created through this service.
2. Information We Process
As a Tech Provider utilizing the WhatsApp Business API for internal sales management, we process the following data:
- Customer Communication Data: We process message content (text and media) sent by customers to our official WhatsApp Business numbers. This data is handled strictly for the purpose of customer service and sales fulfillment.
- WhatsApp Metadata: This includes phone numbers, profile names, and message timestamps provided by Meta Platforms, Inc.
- Internal User Data: Basic identification for our staff members (sales team) who log into our communication dashboard (Chatwoot) to respond to customers.
3. Purpose of Processing
We process this information solely to:
- Facilitate the Embedded Signup and Coexistence of our business messaging channels.
- Manage and respond to customer inquiries in a centralized internal dashboard.
- Maintain the technical stability of our WhatsApp Business API integration.
4. Data Access and Third Parties
- Meta Platforms, Inc.: Data is shared with Meta to facilitate the use of the WhatsApp Business Platform.
- Internal Use Only: Access to customer data is restricted to authorized LMotos personnel. We do not sell or share customer data with third-party marketing firms.
- Software Provider: We utilize Chatwoot as our internal communications platform. Data is routed through our self-hosted/private instance of Chatwoot to provide the interface for our sales team.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain communication data only for as long as necessary to fulfill our business relationship with the customer or as required by local law.
- Data Subject Rights: Customers communicating with us via WhatsApp may request the deletion of their conversation history from our internal systems at any time by contacting dev.team@lmotos.com.
- Requests will be processed within 30 days.
6. Security
We employ industry-standard security protocols to protect all internal data, including encryption of data in transit and restricted access controls for our internal dashboard.
